Aftercare is a deeply personal choice . You may wish to lay your pet to rest at home, or have us help you with one of the cremation options below. 

We honour the bond you shared by offering services that treat your pet’s memory with dignity and care. In partnership with trusted local providers, we ensure every detail is handled with respect and compassion. 


We can assist with two main options: 

  • Traditional cremation or water-based cremation with ashes returned

    • Choice of urns and keepsakes (pictured below)

    • Ashes typically returned within 1–3 weeks (Reterniti Stones take a little longer)

    • Pricing from $200  

  • No ashes returned 

    • Ashes are respectfully returned to nature on your behalf

    • Pricing from $60

Grief is a natural response to loss - an experience we all face in different ways and at different times in our lives.

Whether you're feeling sadness, anger, numbness, guilt or even relief, these emotions are all valid. There's no "right" way to grieve, and healing doesn’t follow a straight line.

In the midst of pain, simple things can help: talking with someone you trust, taking care of your physical health, allowing yourself to feel, and finding gentle ways to remember. Over time, the sharpness of grief often softens. Though the loss never fully disappears, the memories and love remain, forever held in a special place in our hearts.

For those who need additional support, please know you are not alone. Counselling can really help and we encourage you to reach out. Grief Support Services are a local, Tauranga-based organisation that specialise in grief and loss support and all are welcome. Their website and contact details can be found here.
